I started writing this song at the end of 2018. This doesn’t usually happen, but the tag at the end of the song was actually the very first thing I wrote, and sums up what I wanted to say: “I’m beginning to see you’ve always been here, I’m beginning to know you always be.”

Though we may have questions when life gets hard -I certainly do- He promised to always be with us. His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts, so we choose to trust Him even when we don’t get the answers. We let the truth speak louder than our circumstances and ask Him to strip away every lie and help us in our unbelief. The beautiful truth is that nothing can separate us from the love of God.
